While some Destin restaurants come and go, Capt. Dave’s on the Gulf is a Destin institution. Open since 1968, this is one of the top Destin restaurants on the water. Capt. Dave’s has a variety of items available for diners. Some of the most popular are the Cajun Redfish, Grouper Pontchartrain, and Stuffed Shrimp Parmesan. There is also a nice sized kids’ meu with items including spaghetti and meatballs and a 6 oz. sirloin and fries. The restaurant is open 7 day a week from 4 PM until closing and provides a casual dining experience.
